Harry Edward Styles is an English musician, singer, and musician. He was part of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He's the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where he created his own musical band with 3 schoolmates, which he called White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they were winners. Even though he's always been interested in the music world however, despite his love for it he wanted also to be a lawyer or physical therapist. In order to support the needs of his children, he spent some time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. Due to this, the group he was in had to be separated. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form a group named One Direction after the X Test audition. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. They sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the contest. This made them one of the leading contenders to win the competition. But they finished in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid two million pounds as part of a deal for One Direction.
