Fawn Mckay

Fawn MCK Brodie was born on September 15th, 1915 in Ogden Utah. She was a member of the Mormon Church's very first family, Fawn McKay directed her ingenious writing talents as well as her remarkable research skills to creating an outstanding psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945, entitled"No Man Knows My History. It was derived from the sermon title given by Joseph Smith in 1844. In the sermon, he shocked his hearers by stating: "You are not my friend and you have never heard my heart. My history is unknown to any one. I can't tell. I wrote the 29-year-old Fawn at the time: Ever since this moment of honesty, at least three-score writers have jumped on the challenge. Some have deified and abused his character, whereas others attempt to identify the issue. It isn't the case that there's not enough documentation but rather they are wildly inconsistent. It is a daunting task to put together these documents--of sifting first-hand account from third-party plagiarism and integrating Mormon and non-Mormon narratives into a mosaic that makes credible the history. This is exciting and it's enlightening. Fawn Brodie's career was dedicated to this goal. Thaddeus S. Stevens is immortalized in her writing and by the results of her study. The DevilDrives. Thomas Jefferson. The Intimate Histories (1974) The Life of Sir Richard Burton (1974) and Richard Nixon.
